The breakfast was ample, with toasted sandwiches that were delicious! Plus, the stylish decor made the lounge cozy and inviting.
A bit cheeky-the room lacked any sort of beverage options, not even a water bottle. With the restaurant closing early, it left us hanging for dinner after a full day of sightseeing.

Had terrific stay with excellent customer service from the staff, the staff were nice, location was fantastic near from central bus station. I had fresh food for breakfast for vegans. It was centrally located for seeing Kube Art Museum.

Aye, the place was straight up beautiful. The interior design had me feelin' all kinds of fancy. Breakfast hit just right, too! Just wished the staff was a lil' more cute, that coulda made it even better.

Except for the lady who "welcome" us the first day, the staff was nice. Very good location, but not really the cleanest and comfortable hotel we have seen.

The room at the Rica Hotel Scandinavie was the largest we have ever had in Europe. The room and bathroom were well maintained and clean. The breakfast was quite large and satisfying. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would be staying in Alesund.

The hotel had a great location in the heart of alesund and the breakfast was good.
The hotel room (229) faced the back of the hotel and there was a very disturbing noise from the outside fans of the airconditioning. The cleanliness of the room was very poor. Dust in the room and hair in the bathroom.

Highly recommend for couples looking for a mix of historic and trendy
The overall vibe was excellent, especially the gorgeous and stylish backyard where we spent mornings sipping coffee. The room was really spacious and modern.
It wasn't inexpensive, but totally worth it.

Spacious double room, central location just a few hundred meters from the canal, bus station and cruise/ferry services. Breakfast buffet was good with freshly baked bread.
A little noise from the street when local bars closed but only for a short time (had a room on 3rd. floor toward the streets)
